Proszę o wpisy na tym wątku w sprawie zbliżającej się fali.

Pozwoli to mniej doświadczonym "falowo" pilotom  zareagować i przygotować się do wyjazdu.

There is lately increased interest about wave maps at fcst24.com.
So I put a bit more power to it, and now also made Czech map covering Jelenia Gora and Jesenik.
Attached is wave picture of tomorrow.

While there are free gliding forecasts at fcst24.com, wave forecasts  are usable if you are a paid user. Then it is possible to zoom in to proper map, proper zoom level and use the altitude bar to get to daily  situation.  To use wave forecast, then a high detail level zoom is required and giving free access to this would increase load on servers considerably. Free version zoom level it is just too generic to have meaningful look at wave.
Attached picture shows from which altitude is possible to climb to which altitude. Where there is  a black stripe  it means that climb ends in cloudbase, so it also represents wave to cloud relationship. You can also increase your gliders minimum sink at LD pane from 0.7 to 1.5 to filter out less usable waves.

Other note is that Poland 3km map is not good for wave as it shows only very large rare phenomena . In Italy 3km map shows wave as Alps are quite high slopes.  For  mountains in Poland there is now 1km maps - Czech (including Jelenia Gora and Jesenik)  and Slovak (Zar to east) - both quite expensive to run and with wave  detail. 

As those maps have not much users outside wave season then probably ( for summer  or when no users) i will decrease the simulation length considerably. Maybe for summer there is possible to replace 1km maps and  Poland 3km with overall 2km, so it would show a lot more of local phenomena and be a compromise.

Czech 1km map currently runs 3 hours per day until there are a some  subscribed users.
It would be very fine if word about it would propagate somehow also to Slovak and Czech pilots :)
