Dear FLARM dealers,

Please find attached our press release for the mandatory firmware update (version 6.00). It will be released this March.

Please ensure that you forward the information to all your customers (previous as well as current) and other stakeholders (other dealers, partners, etc.). It's essential that the information gets out immediately. If a device is not updated, it will stop operating after March 31.

Please send it to all customers, including previous, via email, put it on your website, in newsletters, etc. Also make sure that they understand that from now on, every FLARM device must be updated to the latest firmware version at least once per year (12 months). This should be part of the regular aircraft maintenance program.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Best regards,

Daniel Hoffmann
